Layout of the temple is complicated. Outer prakaram houses temple tank
and several mandapams. The main attraction of the temple is the sanctum
crowned by golden vimanam. Kamakshi or goddess of Love enshrined in
sanctum in a seated posture.
Devarajaswami Temple
Built by the rulers of Vijaynagar Empire, this temple is dedicated
to Lord Vishnu. Pillared hall, marriage hall and a huge chain carved
out from a single piece of stone are the attraction points of this temple.
Vaikuntha Perumal Temple
One of the ancient temples of Kanchipuram, Vaikuntha Perumal Temple
is seat of Lord Vishnu. This temple represents the first architectural
evolution of thousand pillared halls. Magnificent lion pillars supporting
