Pushkar Lake

It is believed that the falling of lotus from the hands of Lord Brahma
creates this Lake.
Brahma Temple
Pushkar prides itself of being the only site having the temple dedicated
to Lord Brahma. It is believed that lotus from the hands of Lord Brahma
fell in three separate places of Pushkar region and water came out from
every three places. These three places are located within the radius
of six miles.
Camel Market
As Pushkar is basically considered as cattle fair, so there are hundreds
of shops selling cattle especially camels at much low prices.
Ajmer Sharif
Ajmer is located at a distance of 13km from Pushkar. The lakeside of
Ajmer or better known as Ajmer Sharif is located in central Rajasthan.
It is the place where mortal remains of great Sufi saint Khwaja Moin-ud-din
Chishti lie buried.
Ana Sagar Lake
It is an artificial lake built in 12 th century. There is also a peasant
park called Daulat Bagh situated on the shores of this lake.
Adhai-din-ka-Jhonpra
Located on the outskirts of the Ajmer town are the remains of this
mosque. It was originally a Sanskrit college but Mohamed Ghouri converted
it into a mosque by adding seven-arched wall. It is a fine example of
Indo-Islamic architecture.
Pushkar Palace
Located near the lake, this was the residence of Maharaja of Kishangarh.
It is now converted into a heritage hotel.
Inspite of these Pushkar is the sleepy town of Rajasthan consisting
of 400 temples and 52 bathing ghats.
