St. Francis Church

by Europeans in the country. Built by Franciscan friars in 1503, the

Vasco House
It is located on Rose Street and is believed to be the place where
Vasco da Gama once resided. This Kochi tourist attraction is visited
by many tourists. The house has big verandahs and European styled glass
paned windows.
Santa Cruz Basilica
With impressive pastel-colored interior, the church was constructed
in 1505. In 1558, it has been named as a cathedral. Santa Cruz Basilica
was rebuilt in 1795 after destruction. The current structure of the
church was dates back to1905.
Jewish Synagogue and Jew Town
The synagogue was constructed in 1568 and is one of the important tourist
