Day 01: Delhi
As you arrive in the heart of India- the capital city of Delhi
for the start of Taj Mahal and Tiger Tour. An India Tour Guides
representative will be there to greet you and your family
at the airport / railway station from where you will be escorted
to the hotel in Delhi. In the evening, visit the famous landmarks
of Delhi such as Qutub Minar, Jama Masjid, Red Fort, Raj Ghat,
India Gate, Rashtrapati Bhawan, Humayun Tomb, Purana Quila.
Stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 02: Delhi - Sariska
On the second day of the Taj Mahal and Tiger Tour, drive to
Sariska and check-in at the hotel. Post lunch, visit the elaborate
Sariska Palace, known for its beautiful environs and ambience.
In the evening, enjoy a jeep safari inside the Sariska sanctuary
to view the exotic wildlife Stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 03: Sariska - Pushkar
After check out from the lodge, set out for a 250 Km drive
towards for Pushkar. One of the most holiest cities of India,
it is also one of the oft-visited ones. Check-in to a hotel
on arrival and spend some time relaxing in the confines of
your luxurious hotel room.
Day 04: Pushkar
Explore the holy city of Pushkar. Visit the famous Brahma
temple situated on the bank of sacred Pushkar Lake that is
only one of its kinds in India. After paying your obeisance
at the temple, head out to the Nag Pahar, also known as the
Snake Mountain. Stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 05: Pushkar - Jaipur
Day Thirteen will see you driving full speed towards Jaipur.
After a 150 km drive, arrive and check-in at hotel and spend
some time at leisure. In the evening, visit the City Palace,
Hawa Mahal, Jantar Mantar and the modern Birla Planetarium.
Stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 06: Jaipur
On the morning of the fourteenth day of the Best of the Rajasthan
Tour, visit the magnificent Amer Fort, the greatest attraction
at Jaipur. The famous fort is situated 7 miles up on a hilltop.
The most convenient way to reach the fort is by riding an
elephant. A ride to the fort on the back of an elaborately
painted elephant is a special tourist attraction, which would
surely be a unique experience for you. Move on to visit the
other forts in Jaipur such as the Jaigarh Fort and Nahargarh
Fort. Spend the evening shopping at leisure at the famous
Bapu Bazzar where you can buy exquisite handicrafts items,
jewelry, clothes and other attractive items. Stay overnight
at the hotel.
Day 07: Delhi - Ranthambore
Tiger Reserve
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and undertake a
short drive to Ranthambore Tiger Reserve. Arrival and transfer
to the resort. In the evening, enjoy a jeep safari inside
the park. Overnight stay will be at the resort.
Day 08: Ranthambore Tiger
Reserve
The itinerary for the eighth day of the Taj Mahal and Tiger
Tour allows you to spend the entire day within the Ranthambore
Tiger Reserve. Go for game viewing and have fun spotting the
tigers in their natural habitat. Visit the famous Ranthambore
Fort and the temple on top of the fort. Stay overnight at
the hotel.
Day 09: Ranthambore - Bharatpur
Bird Sanctuary
Day Nine will bring you to the Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary after
a six hour drive. Post check in and lunch, enjoy a short walk
to the Jungle to observe the roosting of large bird swarms
and explore the rich avifauna and bird species such as Pelicans,
Geese, Ducks, Eagles, Hawks, Shanks, Stints, Wagtails, Warblers,
White Ears, Flycatchers, Buntings, Larks and Pipits. Overnight
stay at hotel in Bharatpur.
Day 10: Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary
- Agra
Post breakfast and check out from the hotel, undertake a morning
drive to Agra. Enroute, there will be a stopover at Fatehpur
Sikri, a the historical town built by Akbar where you can
see the Bulund Darwaza, the largest gateway in the world;
Jama Masjid and the tomb of famous Sufi saint Shaikh Salim
Chisti. Reach Agra and check in at a hotel. Evening is free
for personal leisure.
Day 11: Agra
After a hearty breakfast, embark on a sightseeing tour of
Agra whereby you will get to see the best of Mughal architecture
such as the Taj Mahal, Agra Fort and Itmad-Ud-Daulah's Tomb.
Stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 12: Agra - Corbett Tiger
Reserve
In the morning after breakfast and check out from the hotel
in Agra, drive to the world-famous Jim Corbett National Park.
On arrival, check into a hotel and have lunch. Post lunch,
enjoy a enthralling jeep safari within the Corbett Tiger Reserve
and try spotting the myriad wildlife of the national park
and its most prized inhabitants-the tigers. Dinner and overnight
stay at the hotel.
Day 13: Corbett Tiger Reserve
Enjoy an exciting full day of for game viewing (Two safaris
with lunch break) in Corbett Tiger Reserve. First safari will
be an early morning jeep safari and the second one will be
an evening safari. Early morning and evening safaris are the
best time to track a tiger in his own natural habitat. Overnight
stay at the resort.
Day 14: Corbett Tiger Reserve
- Delhi
After breakfast, drive back to Delhi. Check in at a hotel
and hit the famous shopping zone of Delhi-Connaught Place.
Overnight stay will be at Delhi.
Day 15: Delhi
After breakfast, transfer to the airport/railway station for
the connecting flight/ train back home or for the onward journey.
