Day 01: Delhi
As you arrive in the heart of India- the capital city of Delhi
for the tour of Royal Rajasthan Journey by Train, an India
Tour Guides representative will be there to greet you and
your family at the airport / railway station from where you
will be escorted to the hotel in Delhi. Spend the rest of
the day at leisure. In the evening, go for shopping at the
famous Connaught Place. Stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 02: Delhi
After breakfast, commence on daylong sightseeing city tour
of Delhi. Witness Delhi's rich architectural heritage in the
forms of Qutub Minar, Jama Masjid, Red Fort, Raj Ghat, India
Gate, Rashtrapati Bhawan, Humayun Tomb, Purana Quila among
others. The evening will be free for shopping at the famous
markets of Delhi such as the South Extension and Hauz Khas
Market. Stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 03: Delhi - Jhansi - Khajuraho
Next morning, you will catch an early morning train for Jhansi.
Arrive four and a half hours later in Jhansi where a car will
be waiting to transfer you to Khajuraho. Check in at a hotel
and have lunch. Post lunch, go on excursion to the famous
temples of Khajuraho that are renowned for their highly erotic
but aesthetically carved sculptures. Overnight stay at the
hotel.
Day 04: Khajuraho - Umaria - Bandhavgarh
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and take a morning
train to Umaria from where you proceed further to Bandhavgarh
Tiger Reserve. Arrive in the evening and check into the Wildlife
Resort. Relax and stay overnight at the resort
Day 05: Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve
The itinerary for Day Five of Royal Rajasthan Journey by Train
Tour will see you embarking on a full day of game viewing
with two safaris in the different parts of the lush forests
of the tiger reserve. Have a fun time trying to spot the tigers
during the jungle safaris. Return to the hotel for overnight
stay
Day 06: Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve - Umaria - Agra
With India Tour Guides, you get to go on a elephant safari
for wildlife viewing on Royal Rajasthan Journey by Train Tour.
Enjoy an exciting Elephant / Jeep Safari to track the majestic
tigers and other wildlife at the park.Also you can do a bit
of bird watching as Bandhavgarh National Park also attracts
a sizeable avian population. Later in the day, visit the Bandhavgarh
Fort situated within the tiger reserve. In the evening, head
towards Umaria from where you can catch a train for Agra.
Spend overnight on train.
Day 07: Delhi - Agra
After arrival at the hotel in Agra, check in and have a hearty
brunch. In the afternoon, embark on a sightseeing tour of
Agra whereby you will get to see the best of Mughal architecture
such as the Taj Mahal, Agra Fort and Itmad-Ud-Daulah's Tomb.
Stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 08: Agra - Ranthambore
Day Eight will see you driving full speed towards Jaipur.
Enroute, there will be a stopover at Fatehpur Sikri, a the
historical town built by Akbar where you can see the Bulund
Darwaza, the largest gateway in the world; Jama Masjid and
the tomb of famous Sufi saint Shaikh Salim Chisti. Arrive
at the Ranthambore and check in at a jungle resort. Enjoy
an evening wildlife safari and see the amazing animals of
Ranthambore National Park.
Day 09: Ranthambore Tiger Reserve
The itinerary for the ninth day of the Royal Rajasthan Journey
by Train Tours allows you to spend the entire day within the
Ranthambore Tiger Reserve. Go for game viewing and have fun
spotting the tigers in their natural habitat. Visit the famous
Ranthambore Fort and the temple on top of the fort. Stay overnight
at the resort.
Day 10: Ranthambore - Pushkar
Have a hearty breakfast and set out for a 245 km long drive
towards Pushkar. Arrive in time for late lunch at the hotel
you would check in. Spend the rest of the day at leisure.
Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 11: Pushkar
One of the holiest cities of India, Pushkar is also one of
the oft-visited ones. Go around the city and soak in the pure
ambience all around. Take a dip in the Ganges. Stay overnight
at the hotel.
Day 12: Pushkar
Explore the holy city of Pushkar. Visit the famous Brahma
temple situated on the bank of sacred Pushkar Lake that is
only one of its kinds in India. After paying your obeisance
at the temple, head out to the Nag Pahar, also known as the
Snake Mountain. Stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 13: Pushkar - Jaipur
Day Thirteen will see you driving full speed towards Jaipur.
After arrival, check in at the hotel in Jaipur and spend some
time at leisure. In the evening, visit the City Palace, Hawa
Mahal, Jantar Mantar and the modern Birla Planetarium. Stay
overnight at the hotel.
Day 14: Jaipur - Delhi
On the morning of the penultimate day of the Royal Rajasthan
Journey by Train Tour, visit the magnificent Amer Fort, Jaigarh
Fort and Nahargarh Fort. Check out from the hotel and drive
back to Delhi. Arrive late in the night, check in at hotel
and retire for night.
Day 15: Delhi
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and get transferred
to airport / railway station for your onward journey or way
back home.
