Day 01: Delhi
As you arrive in the heart of India- the capital city of Delhi,
an India Tour Guides representative will be there to greet
you and your family at the airport / railway station from
where you will be escorted to the hotel in Delhi. Spend the
rest of the day at leisure. In the evening, go for shopping
at the famous Connaught Place. Stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 02: Delhi
After breakfast, commence on daylong sightseeing city tour
of Delhi. Witness Delhi's rich architectural heritage in the
forms of Qutub Minar, Jama Masjid, Red Fort, Raj Ghat, India
Gate, Rashtrapati Bhawan, Humayun Tomb, Purana Quila among
others. The evening will be free for shopping at the famous
markets of Delhi such as the South Extension and Hauz Khas
Market. Stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 03: Delhi - Agra
After breakfast and check out from the hotel, set out for
a exciting road trip to Agra. Enroute visit the Akbar's Tomb
at Sikandra. After arrival at the hotel in Agra, check in
and have a sumptuous lunch. In the afternoon, embark on a
sightseeing tour of Agra whereby you will get to see the best
of Mughal architecture such as the Taj Mahal, Agra Fort and
Itmad-Ud-Daulah's Tomb. Stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 04: Agra - Ranthambore Tiger Reserve
After a hearty breakfast, drive to Sawai Madhopur that takes
about 6 hours to reach. Enroute, there will be a stopover
at Fatehpur Sikri, a the historical town built by Akbar where
you can see the Bulund Darwaza, the largest gateway in the
world; Jama Masjid and the tomb of famous Sufi saint Shaikh
Salim Chisti. Arrive at the park and retire for the night
after an early dinner. Overnight stay at the resort in Ranthambore.
Day 05: Ranthambore Tiger Reserve
The itinerary for the fifth day of the Best of Rajasthan tour
allows you to spend the entire day within the Ranthambore
Tiger Reserve. Go for game viewing and have fun spotting the
tigers in their natural habitat. Visit the famous Ranthambore
Fort and the temple on top of the fort. Stay overnight at
the hotel.
Day 06: Ranthambore - Jaipur
After an early morning jeep safari to explore the rich flora
and fauna of the Ranthambore National Park and see the majestic
tigers in their own natural environment and breakfast, start
for Jaipur that is a three hour drive. After arrival and check
in at hotel in Jaipur, rest a while. In the evening, visit
the City Palace, Hawa Mahal, Jantar Mantar and the modern
Birla Planetarium. Also, witness the majestic forts of Jaipur,
such as the Jaigarh and Nahargarh Fort. Overnight stay at
hotel in Jaipur.
Day 07: Jaipur - Pushkar
On the seventh day, enjoy an enchanting elephant ride up to
the Amer Fort and explore it at leisure. Afterwards drive
towards for Pushkar and reach in the evening. One of the most
holiest cities of India, it is also one of the oft-visited
ones. Check-in to a hotel on arrival and spend the rest of
the time relaxing in the confines of your luxurious hotel
room. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 08: Pushkar
Explore the holy city of Pushkar. Visit the famous Brahma
temple situated on the bank of sacred Pushkar Lake that is
only one of its kinds in India. After paying your obeisance
at the temple, head out to the Nag Pahar, also known as the
Snake Mountain. Stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 09: Pushkar -- Bikaner
Embark on long drive towards Bikaner after breakfast after
checking out from the hotel in Pushkar. Check in at a hotel
on arrival at Bikaner. After freshening up, go on a sightseeing
tour of Bikaner with visits to the Junagarh Fort, Lal Garh
Palace, Ganga Singh Museum Karni Mata Temple and magnificent
Havelis of Bikaner. Stay overnight at Bikaner.
Day 10: Bikaner - Jaisalmer
On the tenth day of the tour of Best of Rajasthan, after breakfast
and check out from hotel, visit the camel breeding farm of
Bikaner. Them make your way to Jaisalmer late in the evening.
Check-in and relax at a hotel on arrival. Evening at leisure.
You can enjoy shopping for exquisite gift items. Overnight
at Jaisalmer.
Day 11: Jaisalmer
Jaisalmer is delightful place to explore. After breakfast
enjoy a daylong sightseeing tour of Jaisalmer that will include
visits to the 12th century magnificent fort of Jaisalmer,
the amazingly carved mansions such as the Salim Singh ki Haveli
and Patwon ki Haveli, Gandhi Sagar Tank and the Barabagh Hill.
After lunch, visit the famous Sam sand dunes situated at the
edge of Thar Desert through a camel safari trip. The evening
will be reserved for a cultural performance at a nearby village.
Stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 12: Jaisalmer - Nimaj
Head towards Nimaj. Arrive at a hotel and have lunch. In the
evening, visit the Chhatra Sagar reservoir in Nimaj, that
is an ideal destination for nature lovers. Return to the hotel
and retire for the night.
Day 13: Nimaj - Udaipur
Drive to Udaipur, situated at a distance of 295 kms. Enroute
visit the Ranakpur Jain temples Continue drive to Udaipur
and check-in at hotel. Later, embark on a sightseeing tour
of Udaipur with visits to Lake Palace, City Palace and Jag
Niwas Island. Also enjoy a motor launch cruise on the placid
waters of Lake Pichola. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 14: Udaipur - Delhi
On the penultimate day, arrive back at Delhi. Check in at
a hotel and have lunch. In the evening, hit the city's shopping
areas. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 15: Delhi
Right after breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport/railway
station for the connecting flight/train back home.
