Day 01: Kolkata
As you arrive in city of Kolkata for Wildlife Odyssey,
an India Tour Guides representative will be there to greet you and your
family at the airport / railway station from where you will be escorted
to the hotel in Kolkata. Spend the rest of the day at leisure. In the
evening, visit the famous landmarks of Delhi such as Victoria Memorial,
Kali temple, Fort William and Howrah Bridge. Return to hotel for overnight
stay.
Day 02: Kolkata - Guwahati - Kaziranga
National Park
In the morning, fly to Guwahati and then drive to famous Kaziranga National
Park, that is renowned as the only natural habitat of the Great Indian
Rhinoceros. Arrive and check in to a resort. Spend the evening exploring
the city. Overnight stay at the resort.
Day 03: Kaziranga National Park
Get ready for an action packed day as you venture into the Kaziranga
National Park. Enjoy the spectacular wildlife on offer what
with great herds of wild animals such as Great One-Horned Rhinos, Wild
Buffalos and Elephants rushing past you. Overnight stay at the resort
Day 04: Kaziranga National Park
Spend the fourth day of Wildlife Odyssey going on jungle safaris, nature
walks and Elephant rides within the Kaziranga Wildlife Sanctuary.
Also, indulge in a bit of bird watching. Kaziranga is home to many exotic
species of birds such as Oriental Honey Buzzard, Black-Shouldered Kite,
Graylag Geese, Brahminy Kite and Pallas's Fishing Eagle. Overnight stay
will be at the Resort.
Day 05: Kaziranga - Guwahati -
Kolkata
In the morning, drive back to Guwahati to catch a flight to Kolkata.
Arrive at Delhi and check in to a hotel and relax. Go for shopping in
the evening. Overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Day 06: Kathmandu
After an early breakfast, catch a flight for Kathmandu, Nepal, from
where you will be escorted to Dwarika's Hotel. Have lunch and for shopping
in the evening. Return to the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 07: Chitwan National Park
The seventh day of the Wildlife Odyssey is marked by a flight to Chitwan
National Park. Arrive and check into Tiger Tops Jungle Lodge
that is situated on the outskirts of the national park. Relax in your
room. In the evening, enjoy campfires. Overnight stay at the lodge.
Day 08: Chitwan National Park
Embark on a full day of game viewing within the Chitwan National
Park. Have fun spotting the many species of wildlife including,
tigers, leopards, Rhinoceros, deer, bears, and monkeys. In the evening,
go for nature walks within the park. Overnight stay at the lodge.
Day 09: Chitwan National Park
Spend another day immersed in the Chitwan National Park and enjoy bird
watching, elephant safaris and a canoe trip all through the day. Overnight
stay at the lodge.
Day 10: Chitwan National Park
- Kathmandu
After breakfast, check out from the lodge and drive back to Kathmandu
where you again put up at Dwarika's hotel. Post lunch, visit the heritage
site of Bhaktapur and Phulchowki, for its amazing natural beauty. Return
to hotel for overnight stay.
Days 11: Kathmandu
Enjoy a whole day of sightseeing in Kathmandu with India Tour
Guides on Wildlife Odyssey. Visit the Machchhendrananth Temple:
Akash Bhairav Temple: Pashupatinath Temple National History Museum and
Mount Everest. Return to hotel for overnight stay.
Day 12: Kathmandu - Delhi
Leave for the airport to board the flight to Delhi. Arrive and check
into the Claridges Hotel. Spend the evening shopping at the famous Connaught
Place, Chandni Chowk and the South Ex markets.
Day 13: Delhi- Nagpur- Kanha
Leave for the airport to board the flight to Nagpur in central India.
From there, drive down to the Kanha and check in at the Tuli Tiger Resort,
which is located in the Kanha National Park's buffer zone. Spend the
rest of the day at leisure. Stay overnight at the resort.
Day 14: Kanha Tiger Reserve
Kanha Tiger Reserve is one of the exceptional tiger reserves in India
and one of the very rare to have a population of white tigers too. Have
an adventurous day exploring the tiger reserve on a jeep safari. Explore
the superb natural beauty and a unique and varied wildlife of the park.
Overnight stay at the resort.
Day 15: Kanha Tiger Reserve
Enjoy an exciting morning and evening jungle excursion, nature walks
and elephant rides inside the Kanha Tiger Reserve to observe the large
herds of the rare Barasingha and Swamp deer. Overnight stay at the resort.
Day 16: Kanha Tiger Reserve
Enjoy a third day of exciting nature walk, jungle treks and game viewing
at the Kanha Tiger Reserve. Overnight stay at the resort.
Day 17: Kanha - Umaria - Bandhavgarh
National Park
After breakfast and check out from the resort, catch a train to Umaria
from where you can drive up to the Bandhavgarh National Park. Check
in at Churhat Kothi and spend the rest of the day at leisure.
Day 18: Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve
The itinerary for Day eighteen of Wildlife Odyssey will see you embarking
on a full day of game viewing with two safaris in the different parts
of the lush forests of the tiger reserve. Have a fun time trying to
spot the tigers during the jungle safaris. Return to the resort for
overnight stay.
Day 19: Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve
With India Tour Guides, you get to go on a elephant safari for wildlife
viewing on your Wildlife Odyssey. If you are lucky, then you can spot
a tiger in his own natural habitat. Also you can do a bit of bird watching
as Bandhavgarh National Park also attracts a sizeable
avian population. Later in the day, visit the Bandhavgarh Fort situated
within the tiger reserve. Overnight stay will be at the resort at Churhat
Kothi.
Day 20: Bandhavgarh National Park
- Umaria - Delhi
After an early morning breakfast and a last trip to see the wildlife
of Bandhavgarh, checkout from Churhat Kothi and drive back to Umaria
to board your overnight train for Delhi.
Day 21: Delhi
Arrive at Delhi, from where you will directly driven to the airport
for the connecting flight back home.
