01: Delhi
As you arrive in the heart of India- the capital city of Delhi
for the Ranthambore Tiger Tours, an India Tour
Guides representative will be there to greet you and your family
at the airport / railway station from where you will be escorted
to the hotel in Delhi. Spend the rest of the day at leisure. In
the evening, visit the famous landmarks of Delhi such as Red Fort,
Jama Masjid, Qutab Minar, Humayun's Tomb and India Gate. Return
to your hotel to stay overnight.
Day 02: Delhi - Khajuraho
- Bandhavgarh
Check out from the hotel after an early breakfast and catch a
flight to Khajuraho from where you will embark an seven hour drive
towards the Bandhavgarh Wildlife sanctuary. Arrive
late in the evening, and check in at the jungle resort in Bandhavgarh.
Day 03: Bandhavgarh
The itinerary for Day Three of Ranthambore Tiger Tour
will see you embarking on a full day of game viewing with two
safaris in the different parts of the lush forests of the tiger
reserve. Have a fun time trying to spot the tigers during the
jungle safaris. Return to the resort for overnight stay
Day 04: Bandhavgarh - Khajuraho
With India Tour Guides, you get to go on a elephant safari for
wildlife viewing on your Ranthambore Tiger Tours.
If you are lucky, then you can spot a tiger in his own natural
habitat. Also you can do a bit of bird watching as Bandhavgarh
National Park also attracts a sizeable avian population.
Later in the day, visit the Bandhavgarh Fort situated within the
tiger reserve. Late evening, leave for Khajuraho. Check into the
hotel in Khajuraho on arrival and relax. Stay overnight at the
hotel.
Day 05: Khajuraho
Enjoy a full day's sightseeing of the Khajuraho temples, built
by the Chandela dynasty of central India. The temples are famous
worldwide for their erotic but aesthetic sculptures. Return to
your hotel to stay overnight.
Day 06: Khajuraho - Orcha
- Shivpuri
Leave for Shivpuri. On the way we tour Orchha, a medieval city
known for its beautiful palaces and temples. Arrive at Shivpuri
and check into the jungle lodge.
Day 07: Shivpuri
Begin the day with a wildlife safari early in
the morning, when many animals can be seen. You can go on another
wildlife safari in the evening to see the animals at Shivpuri
National Park.
Day 08: Shivpuri - Ranthambore
Leave for Ranthambore National Park early in the morning. Arrive
and check into the jungle resort. Relax at the resort or watch
some interesting slides on the tiger. Overnight stay will be at
the resort.
Day 09: Ranthambore
The itinerary for the ninth day of the Ranthambore Tiger
Tours allows you to spend the entire day within the Ranthambore
Tiger Reserve. Go for game viewing and have fun spotting the tigers
in their natural habitat. Visit the famous Ranthambore Fort and
the temple on top of the fort. Stay overnight at the resort.
Day 10: Ranthambore - Jaipur
Enjoy another morning wildlife safari and see the amazing animals
of Ranthambore. Post lunch, leave for Jaipur. Arrive at your hotel.
Check in and relax. In the evening, visit the famous shopping
markets of Jaipur such as Johri & Bapu Bazaar.
Day 11: Jaipur
After breakfast, enjoy a full day sightseeing tour of Jaipur.
Visit the prime attractions of Jaipur such as the City Palace
Museum, Hawa Mahal, Jantar Mantar and the modern Birla Planetarium.
Enjoy an elephant ride up to the famous17th century Amer Fort.
Also visit the majestic Jaigarh Fort and Nahargarh Fort. Overnight
stay will be at the hotel in Jaipur
Day 12: Jaipur - Agra via
Bharatpur and Fatehpur Sikri
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive towards Bharatpur
Bird Sanctuary. At the sanctuary, enjoy a boat ride and have a
better look at the colonies of birds, which reside in the interiors
of the park. In the evening, drive towards Agra. Enroute, stopover
at Fatehpur Sikri and visit the tomb of the Sufi Saint Muin-ud-din-Chisti.
After arrival at hotel in Agra, check in and relax for the night.
Day 13: Agra- Delhi
Embark on a sightseeing tour of Agra whereby you will get to see
the best of Mughal architecture such as the Taj Mahal, Agra Fort
and Itmad-Ud-Daulah's Tomb. Leave for Delhi in the evening, visiting
the Akbar's tomb at Sikandra enroute. Check in and stay overnight
at the hotel in Delhi.
Day 14: Delhi
After breakfast, you will be escorted to the airport/railway station
for your flight/train back home.
