 Day
01: Delhi
As you arrive in the heart of India- the capital city of Delhi for the
India Wildlife Tour, an India Tour Guides representative
will be there to greet you and your family at the airport / railway station
from where you will be escorted to the hotel in Delhi. Spend the rest
of the day at leisure. In the evening, visit the famous landmarks of Delhi
such as the Qutub Minar, Jama Masjid, Red Fort, Raj Ghat, India Gate,
Rashtrapati Bhawan, Humayun Tomb and Purana Quila. Stay overnight at the
hotel.
Day 02: Delhi - Corbett National Park
Depart from Delhi early morning and drive to the world-famous Jim Corbett
National Park. On arrival, check into the forest lodge and have lunch.
Post lunch, explore the place on your own before retiring for the night.
Day 03: Corbett National Park
Enjoy elephant safaris and jeep safaris in Corbett National Park. Considered
one of the finest wildlife sanctuaries in India, Corbett
National Park is located in the Himalayan foothills and has an abundant
population of elephants, deer, tigers and leopards. After your day's
safari you return to your jungle lodge to stay overnight.
Day 04: Corbett National Park
Enjoy another day of enthralling jeep safari within the Corbett Tiger
Reserve and try spotting the myriad wildlife of the national park and
its most prized inhabitants-the tigers. Back to lodge by sundown for
campfire barbecue and overnight stay.
Day 05: Corbett - Delhi
Drive back to Delhi. Check into your hotel and relax. In the evening,
go for shopping at Connaught Place and Chandni Chowk.
Day 07: Delhi - Sawai Madhopur - Ranthambore Tiger Reserve
After breakfast, you will undertake a train journey to Sawai Madhopur
that will last for 6 hours. Arrival and transfer to the resort near
Ranthambore Tiger Reserve. Evening free at the resort. Relax at the
resort or watch some interesting slides on the tiger. Overnight stay
will be at the resort.
Day 08: Ranthambore Tiger Reserve
The itinerary for the eighth day of the India Wildlife Tour
allows you to spend the entire day within the Ranthambore Tiger Reserve.
Go for game viewing and have fun spotting the tigers in their natural
habitat. Visit the famous Ranthambore Fort and the temple on top of
the fort. Stay overnight at the resort.
Day 09: Ranthambore - Keoladeo Ghana National Park (Bharatpur)
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive towards Bharatpur
Bird Sanctuary. At the sanctuary, enjoy a boat ride and have a better
look at the colonies of birds, which reside in the interiors of the
park. Stay overnight at a hotel in Bharatpur.
Day 10: Keoladeo National Park (Bharatpur) - Agra
Enjoy a richskhaw ride within the bird sanctuary as you try to spot
the various exotic species of birds. In the evening, drive towards Agra.
Enroute, stopover at Fatehpur Sikri and visit the tomb of the Sufi Saint
Muin-ud-din-Chisti. After arrival at hotel in Agra, check in and relax
for the night
Day 11: Agra - Khajuraho
Embark on a sightseeing tour of Agra whereby you will get to see the
best of Mughal architecture such as the Taj Mahal, Agra Fort and Itmad-Ud-Daulah's
Tomb. Leave for Khajuraho in the evening, Check in at the hotel and
retire for an early night.
Day 12: Khajuraho - Bandhavgarh
Enjoy a full day's sightseeing of the Khajuraho temples, built by the
Chandela dynasty of central India. The temples are famous worldwide
for their erotic but aesthetic sculptures. Afterwards, head for Bandhavgarh
National Park and check in at the jungle resort for overnight stay.
Day 13: Bandhavgarh
The itinerary for Day Thirteen of India Wildlife Tour will see you embarking
on a full day of game viewing with two jeep safaris in the different
parts of the lush forests of the tiger reserve. Have a fun time trying
to spot the tigers during the jungle safaris. Return to the resort for
overnight stay
Day 14: Bandhavgarh - Kanha
Early in the morning, leave for Kanha National Park, and check in at
the Tuli Tiger Resort, which is located in the Kanha National Park's
buffer zone. Spend the rest of the day at leisure. Late afternoon, go
out for exploring the tiger reserve on a jeep safari. Explore the superb
natural beauty and a unique and varied wildlife of the park Stay overnight
at the resort.
Day 15: Kanha Tiger Reserve
Enjoy an exciting morning and evening jungle excursion, nature walks
and elephant rides inside the Kanha Tiger Reserve to observe the large
herds of the rare Barasingha and Swamp deer. Overnight stay at the resort.
Day 16: Kanha - Nagpur - Mumbai
After breakfast, drive to Nagpur by road from where a connecting flight
to Mumbai has been arranged in advance. Stay overnight at the hotel
in Mumbai.
Day 17: Mumbai
In the morning, after breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport
for the flight to your onward destination.
