Day 01: Delhi
As you arrive in the heart of India- the capital city of Delhi
for the Ranthambore Tiger Tours, an India
Tour Guides representative will be there to greet you and
your family at the airport / railway station from where you
will be escorted to the hotel in Delhi.
Spend the rest of
the day at leisure. In the evening, visit the famous landmarks
of Delhi such as Red Fort, Jama Masjid, Qutab Minar, Humayun's
Tomb and India Gate. Return to your hotel to stay overnight.
Day 02: Delhi - Mandawa
In the morning, drive to Mandawa. Upon arrival in Mandawa,
check-in at the Mandawa Haveli, that is now a heritage hotel.
Afternoon, visit the town, a painted arched gateway adorned
with Lord Krishna and his cows leads to the bazaar.
You can
wander through the streets where mansions of rich merchants
are adorned with elaborate and lively frescoes, cataloging
the life, habits and rituals of the Marwari community. Stay
overnight at the hotel.
Day 03: Mandawa - Bikaner
On Day Three of the Rajasthan Agra and Varanasi Tour, check
out from the Mandawa Haveli and drive to Bikaner. Upon arrival,
check in a hotel and freshen up. Post lunch, visit the fascinating
city of Bikaner and see the Junagarh Fort, Lal Garh Palace,
Ganga Singh Museum Karni Mata Temple and magnificent Havelis
of Bikaner. Stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 04: Bikaner - Jaisalmer- Rajasthan Varanasi Tour
After a heavy breakfast, drive to Jaisalmer. Upon arrival
in Jaisalmer, check-into the hotel and have lunch. Spend the
rest of the day at leisure and go shopping at the local markets.
Stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 05: Jaisalmer
Jaisalmer is delightful place to explore. After breakfast
enjoy a daylong sightseeing tour of Jaisalmer that will include
visits to the 12th century magnificent fort of Jaisalmer,
the amazingly carved mansions such as the Salim Singh ki Haveli
and Patwon ki Haveli, Gandhi Sagar Tank and the Barabagh Hill.
After lunch, visit the famous Sam sand dunes situated at the
edge of Thar Desert through a camel safari trip. Stay overnight
at the hotel.
Day 06: Jaisalmer - Jodhpur
In the morning, drive to Jodhpur. Upon arrival, check in at
a hotel and have lunch. Post lunch, enjoy an afternoon city
tour of Jodhpur. Visit the Mehrangarh Fort, famous Jaswant
Thada Memorial and the Mahamandir Temple. Enjoy a cruise in
Kaliana Lake. In the evening, head for a Bishnoi Village by
jeep, where you will be served a traditional dinner. Return
to the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 07: Jodhpur - Udaipur
Set out for Udaipur in the morning. En route visit the famous
Ranakpur Jain temples. Thereafter continue drive to Udaipur.
Upon arrival in Udaipur, check into the hotel. In the evening,
go for a boat ride in Lake Pichola and admire the splendid
views of the sunset. Stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 08: Udaipur - Rajasthan Varanasi Tour
Embark on a full-blown tour of Udaipur with visits to Lake
Palace, City Palace and Jag Niwas Island. After lunch, enjoy
a motor launch cruise on the placid waters of Lake Pichola.
Later, head out for the Jag Mandir Palace that is an island
palace situated in the middle of the lake. Explore the palace
at leisure. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 09: Udaipur - Ranthambore National Park
Set out for Ranthambore National Park, by way of Sawai Madhopur.
Upon arrival, check into a jungle resort and where you stay
overnight. In the evening, enjoy a jeep safari within the
tiger reserve.
Day 10: Ranthambore National Park - Jaipur
The itinerary for the sixth day of the Explore Rajasthan Tour
allows you to spend the entire day within the Ranthambore
Tiger Reserve. Go for game viewing and have fun spotting the
tigers in their natural habitat. Visit the famous Ranthambore
Fort and the temple on top of the fort. Late evening, drive
to Jaipur, check in at a hotel, have dinner and retire for
the night.
Day 11: Jaipur
On the morning of the eleventh day of the Rajasthan
Agra and Varanasi Tour, visit the magnificent Amer
Fort, Jaigarh Fort and Nahargarh Fort. Also visit the City
Palace, Hawa Mahal, Jantar Mantar and the modern Birla Planetarium.
Spend the evening shopping at leisure at the famous Bapu Bazzar
where you can buy exquisite handicrafts items, jewelry, clothes
and other attractive items. Stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 12: Jaipur - Rajasthan Agra Tour
After breakfast and check out from the hotel, set out for
a exciting road trip to Agra. Enroute, visit the Bharatpur
Bird Sanctuary where you can enjoy a rickshaw ride
inside the sanctuary, to witness the rich abundance of exotic
birds. Also, there will be a stopover at Fatehpur Sikri, a
the historical town built by Akbar where you can see the Bulund
Darwaza, the largest gateway in the world; Jama Masjid and
the tomb of famous Sufi saint Shaikh Salim Chisti. Late evening,
reach Agra and check into your hotel, where you will stay
overnight.
Day 13: Rajasthan Agra Tour- Agra Varanasi Tour
Embark on a sightseeing tour of Agra whereby you will get
to see the best of Mughal architecture such as the Taj Mahal,
Agra Fort and Itmad-Ud-Daulah's Tomb. Stay overnight at the
hotel. Post lunch, drive to Varanasi, and check into your
hotel, where you will stay overnight.
Day 14: Agra Varanasi Tour
Wake up early to the chanting of sacred mantras and visit
the numerous sacred ghats of Varanasi such as the Asi, Dashashwamedha,
Adi Keshava, Panchganga and Manikarnika Ghats. Later, enjoy
a boat-ride on the pristine clear waters of Ganges. After
lunch, there will be an excursion to Sarnath where Lord Buddha
preached his first sermon in 590 BC. Explore the quiet little
city at leisure and head back to the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 15: Varanasi - Delhi
After breakfast, visit the famous temples of Varanasi such
as Vishwanath temple, Annapurna temple, Bharat Mata temple,
Durga temple and the Tulsi Manas temple. Late evening, board
a flight for Delhi. Check in at a hotel and retire for the
night.
Day 16: Delhi
On the last day of the Tour to Rajasthan Agra Varanasi, you will be driven to the airport/ railway
station for the connecting flight/ train back home.
