Day 01: Delhi
As you arrive in the heart of India- the
capital city of Delhi for Golden
Triangle Khajuraho and Varanasi Tour,
an India Tour Guides representative will
be there to greet you and your family at
the airport / railway station from where
you will be escorted to the hotel in Delhi.
Check in and spend some time at leisure.
Later, visit the famous landmarks of Delhi
such as Qutub Minar, Jama Masjid, Red Fort,
Raj Ghat, India Gate, Rashtrapati Bhawan,
Humayun Tomb and Purana Quila. Stay overnight
at the hotel.
Day 02: Delhi - Jaipur
Day Two will see you driving full speed
towards Jaipur. After arrival, check in
at the hotel in Jaipur, have lunch and spend
some time at leisure. In the evening, visit
the City Palace, Hawa Mahal, Jantar Mantar
and the modern Birla Planetarium. Stay overnight
at the hotel.
Day 03: Jaipur
On the morning of the third day of the Golden
Triangle Khajuraho and Varanasi Tour,
visit the magnificent Amer Fort, the greatest
attraction at Jaipur. The famous fort is
situated 7 miles up on a hilltop. The most
convenient way to reach the fort is by riding
an elephant. A ride to the fort on the back
of an elaborately painted elephant is a
special tourist attraction, which would
surely be a unique experience for you. Move
on to visit the other forts in Jaipur such
as the Jaigarh Fort and Nahargarh Fort.
Spend the evening shopping at leisure at
the famous Bapu Bazzar where you can buy
exquisite handicrafts items, jewelry, clothes
and other attractive items. Stay overnight
at the hotel.
Day 04: Jaipur - Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary
- Agra
Day Four will see you driving full speed
towards Agra. Enroute, there will be a stopover
at Fatehpur Sikri, the historical town built
by Akbar where you can see the Bulund Darwaza,
the largest gateway in the world; Jama Masjid
and the tomb of famous Sufi saint Shaikh
Salim Chisti. Also, there will be a brief
visit to the Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary that
will come in the way. After arrival, check
in at the hotel in Agra and spend some time
at leisure. In the afternoon, embark on
a sightseeing tour of Agra whereby you will
get to see the best of Mughal architecture
such as the Taj Mahal, Agra Fort and Itmad-Ud-Daulah's
Tomb. Stay overnight at the hotel
Day 05: Agra - Orchha
Check out from the hotel and board a train
for Orchha in Madhaya Pradesh. Upon arrival,
check in at a hotel, have lunch and then
embark on a sightseeing tour. Visit the
the palaces Jehangir Mahal, Raj Mahal, Rai
Parveen Mahal, and temples Chaturbhuj Temple,
Ram Rajya Temple and Lakshminarayan Temple.
Return to your hotel to stay overnight.
Day 06: Orchha - Khajuraho
The sixth day of the Golden Triangle
Khajuraho and Varanasi Tour brings
us to Khajuraho. Upon arrival, check in
at a hotel and relax a while. In the evening,
explore the world-famous temples of Khajuraho,
built by the Chandela rulers that are renowned
all over for their architectural uniqueness
and amazing erotic sculptures. Overnight
stay at Khajuraho.
Day 07: Khajuraho -- Varanasi
Check out from the hotel after breakfast
from where you are transferred to airport
for your onward flight to the holy city
of Varanasi. After arrival and check in
at the hotel in Varanasi, spend the rest
of the day at leisure. Late afternoon, visit
the famous temples of Varanasi such as Vishwanath
temple, Annapurna temple, Bharat Mata temple,
Durga temple and the Tulsi Manas temple.
Stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 08: Varanasi
Wake up early to the chanting of sacred
mantras and visit the numerous sacred
ghats of Varanasi such as the Asi,
Dashashwamedha, Adi Keshava, Panchganga
and Manikarnika Ghats. Later, enjoy a boat-ride
on the pristine clear waters of Ganges.
After lunch, there will be an excursion
to Sarnath where Lord Buddha preached his
first sermon in 590 BC. Explore the quiet
little city at leisure and head back to
the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 09: Varanasi - Delhi
After an early breakfast, drive back to
Delhi. Check in a hotel and spend the rest
of the time at leisure. You can also go
for shopping at famous shopping zones of
Delhi such as the Connaught Place, South
Ex and Lajpat Nagar. Stay overnight at the
hotel
Day 10: Delhi - Departure
Check out from the hotel and leave for the
airport to board your flight to your onward
destination or back home at the end of your
Golden Triangle with Khajuraho and
