Day 01: Cochin
As you arrive at Cochin in Kerala for the Enchanting
Kerala Tour, you will be received with a warm smile
by our India Tour Guides representative and escorted back
to the hotel. You are free to relax for the rest of the day.
Entertainment in the evening will be provided by the way of
a cultural performance. Overnight stay at the hotel in Cochin.
Day 02: Cochin
After a leisurely breakfast, embark on a daylong sightseeing
trip that will include visits to the Dutch Palace, Jewish
Synagogue, Chinese fishing nets, St. Francis Church and the
Fort Cochin as well as souvenir shops. Overnight stay at the
hotel.
Day 03: Cochin - Munnar
Day Three will bring you to Munnar in time for lunch at the
hotel where you would be checking in. Relax in your hotel
room in the afternoon. Evening would be free for personal
exploration. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 04: Munnar
Set out on post breakfast sightseeing tours to the tourist
attractions of Munnar in Kerala, South India. Go on tours
to the tea plantations located close by. Go on tours to the
Eravikulam National Park, Mattupetty Dam, Kundala Lake and
the Indo Swiss Dairy Farm. Stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 05: Munnar - Periyar
A short drive will bring you to Periyar. Enroute you will
get to see the enchanting natural beauty of Kerala. After
checking in and getting refreshed, set out on a boat ride
on the Lake Periyar. Stay overnight at the Periyar hotel.
Day 06: Periyar
Day Six will see you donning your adventure cap as you set
out on jungle treks through the Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary
along with a trained guide. Post lunch, head for the dense
spice plantations. Later you can go to the spice market in
Kumily. overnight at the Periyar hotel.
Day 07: Periyar - Kumarakom - Alleppey
An Enchanting Kerala Tour cant be complete without a backwater
cruise on a houseboat. Day Seven will see bring you to Kumarakom
where your own personalized luxury houseboat will be waiting
to set sail on the backwaters of Kerala. Enjoy a exhilarating
cruise throughout the day. Next day will see you cruising
through the backwaters of Alleppey in Kerala, South India.
Back on dry land at Alleppey, you will visit its various tourist
attractions such as the Alleppey Beach, Karumadikkuttan statue
that is a black granite figure of the great Buddha, The St.
Mary Forane Church and the village of Champakulam. Overnight
stay in a hotel in Alleppey.
Day 08: Alleppey -Kovalam
On the eight day of the itinerary, you will reach Kovalam.
Enroute to Kovalam, there will be a stopover at Trivandrum
where you can visit the prime tourist attractions in Trivandrum
such as the Sri Padmanabha Swamy Temple, Sri Chithira Art
Gallery and the Veli Tourist Village. Late in the afternoon,
arrive at Kovalam and spend the rest of the day basking in
the sun at the world famous Kovalam beach.
Day 09: Kovalam - Kanyakumari
Spend the day at leisure at the beach and indulging in various
water sport activities. Early afternoon, head for an excursion
to the beautiful Kanyakumari beach. Return to the hotel at
Kovalam for overnight stay.
Day 10: Kovalam - Trivandrum
On the last and the tenth day of the Enchanting Kerala Tour,
you will be driven back to Trivandrum from where you can either
catch a train or a flight for your onward journey
