01: Delhi
As you arrive in the heart of India- the capital city of Delhi
for the North East India Wildlife Tour, an India
Tour Guides representative will be there to greet you and your
family at the airport / railway station from where you will be
escorted to the hotel in Delhi. Spend the rest of the day at leisure.
In the evening, visit the famous landmarks of Delhi such as Qutub
Minar, Jama Masjid, Red Fort, Raj Ghat, India Gate, Rashtrapati
Bhawan, Humayun Tomb and Purana Quila. Stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 02: Delhi - Sariska National
Park
After breakfast and check out from the hotel, arrive at the famous
Sariska Tiger Reserve. Check in and have lunch.
Post lunch, head out for a riveting wildlife tour within the Sariska
Reserves. Have a great time spotting the varied wildlife species
living in the reserve such as including Tigers, Leopards, Wild
Dogs, Jungle Cat, Hyena, Jackals and lots more. Overnight stay
at the Resort.
Day 03: Sariska - Jaipur
Spend a lazy morning at the resort. After lunch drive to Jaipur.
Enroute, visit the famous and magnificent Amer Fort. After arrival,
check in at the hotel in Jaipur and spend some time at leisure.
In the evening, visit the City Palace, Hawa Mahal, Jantar Mantar
and the modern Birla Planetarium. Stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 04: Jaipur - Ranthambore
Tiger Reserve
After a hearty breakfast, drive to Sawai Madhopur that is home
to the famous Ranthambore National Park. Arrival
and transfer to the resort. After lunch, drive out to the Ranthambore
Tiger Reserve and enjoy a jeep safari within the reserve. Stay
overnight at the hotel.
Day 05: Ranthambore Tiger
Reserve
The itinerary for the fifth day of the North East India Wildlife
Tour allows you to spend the entire day within the Ranthambore
Tiger Reserve. Go for game viewing and have fun spotting
the tigers in their natural habitat. Stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 06: Ranthambore Tiger
Reserve
Continue with your game viewing as go out on wildlife
safaris within the Ranthambore Tiger Reserve. Spend the
day at the national park observing the large herds of Sambhar,
Chital, Nilgai, Gazelle, Boars, Mongoose, Indian Hare and Monitor
Lizards. Overnight stay at the resort
Day 07: Ranthambore - Bharatpur
Bird Sanctuary>
Day Seven of the North East India Wildlife Tour will bring you
to the Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary. Post lunch,
enjoy a short walk to the Jungle to observe the roosting of large
bird swarms. Overnight stay at hotel in Bharatpur.
Day 08: Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary
After breakfast, enjoy a morning boat ride and have a better look
at the colonies of birds, which reside in the interiors of the
park. The sanctuary is home to over 400 varieties of birds including
the world-renowned migratory Siberian Cranes. Overnight stay at
hotel in Bharatpur.
Day 09: Bharatpur - Agra
Post breakfast, go for a rickshaw ride inside the bird reserve
for exploring the rich avifauna and bird species such as Pelicans,
Geese, Ducks, Eagles, Hawks, Shanks, Stints, Wagtails, Warblers,
White Ears, Flycatchers, Buntings, Larks and Pipits. Post lunch
and check out, head towards Agra where there will be a hectic
round of sightseeing tour to Taj Mahal, Agra Fort and Tomb of
Itimad-ud-Daulah. Overnight stay at hotel in Agra.
Day 10: Agra - Khajuraho
- Bandhavgarh
The tenth day of the North East India Wildlife Tour itinerary
involves a train journey to Khajuraho, in Madhya Pradesh. After
lunch, visit the world famous Khajuraho temples that are renowned
for their architectural uniqueness and amazing erotic sculptures.
Also visit the temples of Kandariya Mahadeo and Chuansat Yogini.
Late in the evening, drive to Bandhavgarh National Park
and check in at the Bandhavgarh Jungle Resort for overnight stay.
Day 11: Bandhavgarh Tiger
Reserve
The itinerary for Day eleven of North East India Wildlife Tour
will see you embarking on a full day of game viewing with two
safaris in the different parts of the lush forests of the tiger
reserve. Have a fun time trying to spot the tigers during the
jungle safaris. Return to the Jungle Resort for overnight stay.
Day 12: Bandhavgarh Tiger
Reserve
With India Tour Guides, you get to go on a elephant safari for
wildlife viewing on your North East India Wildlife Tour. If you
are lucky, then you can spot a tiger in his own natural habitat.
Also you can do a bit of bird watching as Bandhavgarh
National Park also attracts a sizeable avian population.
Later in the day, visit the Bandhavgarh Fort situated within the
tiger reserve. Overnight stay will be at the resort at Bandhavgarh
Jungle Resort.
Day 13: Bandhavgarh Tiger
Reserve - Kanha Tiger Reserve
After a hearty breakfast, check out from the hotel and head towards
the Kanha Tiger Reserve that is at a distance
of 250 kms. After a 6 hour drive, reach the reserve and check
in at the Kanha Resort. Spend the rest of the day at leisure.
Overnight stay at the resort.
Day 14: Kanha Tiger Reserve
Kanha Tiger Reserve is one of the exceptional tiger reserves
in India and one of the very rare to have a population
of white tigers too. Have an adventurous day exploring the tiger
reserve on a jeep safari. Explore the exceptional natural beauty
and a unique and varied wildlife of the park. Overnight stay at
the resort.
>Day 15: Kanha Tiger Reserve
Enjoy an exciting morning and evening jungle excursion, nature
walks and elephant rides inside the Kanha Tiger Reserve to observe
the large herds of the rare Barasingha and Swamp deer. Overnight
stay will be at the Resort in Kanha.
Day 16: Kanha - Nagpur
After breakfast, head out for to the Tiger Reserve once again
for some game viewing. Later in the day, drive to Nagpur. After
check in at hotel, relax a while and utilize the evening by exploring
the orange markets. Overnight stay will be at Nagpur.
Day 17: Nagpur - Bhubaneshwar
From Nagpur, catch a flight for Bhubaneshwar. After arrival and
check in at the hotel and freshening up, embark on a short excursion
to famous Konark Temple, also known as the Sun Temple. Overnight
stay will be at the hotel in Bhubaneshwar
Day 18: Bhubaneshwar - Kolkata
Day Eighteen of the North East India Wildlife Tour
will see you boarding a flight for Kolkata. After arrival and
check in at the hotel, relax a while. Post lunch, embark on a
sightseeing tour that will encompass visits to the famous Victoria
Memorial, Kali temple, and Howrah Bridge. Return to hotel for
overnight stay.
Day 19: Kolkata - Guwahati
- Kaziranga National Park
In the morning, fly to Guwahati and then drive to famous Kaziranga
National Park, that is renowned as the only natural habitat
of the Great Indian Rhinoceros. Arrive and check in to a resort.
Spend the evening exploring the city. Overnight stay at the resort.
Day 20: Kaziranga National
Park
Get ready for an action packed day as you venture into the Kaziranga
National Park. Enjoy the spectacular wildlife on offer
what with great herds of wild animals such as Great One-Horned
Rhinos, Wild Buffalos and Elephants rushing past you. Overnight
stay at the resort
Day 21: Kaziranga National
Park
As your North East India Wildlife Tour nears its end, spend the
twenty first day going on jungle safaris, nature walks and Elephant
rides within the Kaziranga Wildlife Sanctuary.
Also, indulge in a bit of bird watching. Kaziranga is home to
many exotic species of birds such as Oriental Honey Buzzard, Black-Shouldered
Kite, Graylag Geese, Brahminy Kite and Pallas's Fishing Eagle.
Overnight stay will be at the Resort.
Day 22: Kaziranga - Guwahati
- Delhi
In the morning, drive back to Guwahati to catch a flight to Delhi.
Arrive at Delhi and check in to a hotel and relax. Go for shopping
in the evening. Overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Day 23: Delhi
After breakfast you will be transferred to the airport/railway
station for your onward journey.
