Day 01: Delhi
As you arrive in the heart of India- the capital city of Delhi for the
start of Extensive Tiger Tour of North India, an India
Tour Guides representative will be there to greet you and your family
at the airport / railway station from where you will be escorted to the
hotel in Delhi. In the evening, visit the famous landmarks of Delhi such
as Qutub Minar, Jama Masjid, Red Fort, Raj Ghat, India Gate, Rashtrapati
Bhawan, Humayun Tomb, Purana Quila. Stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 02: Delhi - Corbett Tiger Reserve
In the morning after breakfast and check out from the hotel in Delhi,
drive to the world-famous Jim Corbett National Park.
On arrival, check into a hotel and have lunch. Post lunch, enjoy a enthralling
jeep safari within the Corbett Tiger Reserve and try spotting the myriad
wildlife of the national park and its most prized inhabitants-the
tigers. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 03: Corbett Tiger Reserve
Enjoy an exciting full day of for game viewing (Two safaris with lunch
break) in Corbett Tiger Reserve. First safari will be an early morning
jeep safari and the second one will be an evening safari. Early morning
and evening safaris are the best time to track a tiger in his own natural
habitat. Overnight stay at the resort.
Day 04: Corbett Tiger Reserve - Delhi
After breakfast, drive back to Delhi. Check in at a hotel and hit the
famous shopping zone of Delhi-Connaught Place. Overnight stay will be
at Delhi.
Day 05: Delhi - Ranthambore Tiger Reserve
After breakfast, you will undertake a train journey to Sawai Madhopur
that will last for 6 hours. Arrival and transfer to the resort. Evening
free at the resort. Relax at the resort or watch some interesting slides
on the tiger. Overnight stay will be at the resort.
Day 06: Ranthambore Tiger Reserve
The itinerary for the sixth day of the Extensive Tiger Tour
of North India allows you to spend the entire day within the
Ranthambore Tiger Reserve. Go for game viewing and have fun spotting
the tigers in their natural habitat. Visit the famous Ranthambore Fort
and the temple on top of the fort. Stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 07: Ranthambore Tiger Reserve
Enjoy another day of game viewing that will comprise of a morning and
an evening safari inside the lush forests of Ranthambore Tiger Reserve.
Overnight stay at the resort.
Day 08: Ranthambore - Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary
Day Eight will bring you to the Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary after a six
hour drive. Post check in and lunch, enjoy a short walk to the Jungle
to observe the roosting of large bird swarms and explore the rich avifauna
and bird species such as Pelicans, Geese, Ducks, Eagles, Hawks, Shanks,
Stints, Wagtails, Warblers, White Ears, Flycatchers, Buntings, Larks
and Pipits. Overnight stay at hotel in Bharatpur.
Day 09: Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary-Agra
After breakfast, enjoy a morning boat ride and have a better look at
the colonies of birds, which reside in the interiors of the park. The
sanctuary is home to over 400 varieties of birds including the world-renowned
migratory Siberian Cranes. In the evening, drive towards Agra. After
arrival at hotel and check in, retire for an early night.
Day 10: Agra - Umaira
Embark on a sightseeing trip to Taj Mahal, Agra Fort and Tomb of Itimad-ud-
Daulah. In the evening, proceed to the railway station for train journey
to Umaria. Overnight will be spent on the train.
Day 11: Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve
Arrive at Umaria railway station in the morning. Thereafter, drive to
Bandhavgarh National Park and check in at the Bandhavgarh Jungle Resort.
Enjoy breakfast at the resort and relax during the morning. In the afternoon,
proceed for an exciting Jungle Safari for game viewing into the Bandhavgarh
Tiger Reserve. Overnight will be in the resort at Bandhavgarh.
Day 12: Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve
The itinerary for Day twelve of Extensive Tiger Tour of North India
will see you embarking on a full day of game viewing with two safaris
in the different parts of the lush forests of the tiger reserve. Have
a fun time trying to spot the tigers during the jungle safaris. Return
to the Jungle Resort for overnight stay.
Day 13: Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve
With India Tour Guides, you get to go on a elephant safari for wildlife
viewing on your Extensive Tiger Tour of North India. If you are lucky,
then you can spot a tiger in his own natural habitat. Also you can do
a bit of bird watching as Bandhavgarh National Park also attracts a
sizeable avian population. Later in the day, visit the Bandhavgarh Fort
situated within the tiger reserve. Overnight stay will be at the resort
at Bandhavgarh Jungle Resort.
Day 14: Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve - Kanha Tiger Reserve
After a hearty breakfast, check out from the hotel and head towards
the Kanha Tiger Reserve that is at a distance of 250
kms. After a 6 hour drive, reach the reserve and check in at the Kanha
Resort. Spend the rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay at the
resort.
Day 15: Kanha Tiger Reserve
Kanha Tiger Reserve is one of the exceptional tiger reserves
in India and one of the very rare to have a population of white
tigers too. Have an adventurous day exploring the tiger reserve on a
jeep safari. Explore the exceptional natural beauty and a unique and
varied wildlife of the park. Overnight stay at the resort.
Day 16: Kanha - Nagpur
After breakfast, head out for to the Tiger Reserve once again for some
game viewing. Later in the day, drive to Nagpur. After check in at hotel,
relax a while and utilize the evening by exploring the orange markets.
Overnight stay will be at hotel in Nagpur.
Day 17: Nagpur - Delhi
On the last day of the tour, catch a flight from Nagpur for Delhi, and
then either a connecting train or another flight for the trip back home.
