Day 01: Delhi
As you arrive in the heart of India- the capital city of Delhi,
for the start of the North India Wildlife safari, an India
Tour Guides representative will be there to greet you and
your family at the airport / railway station from where you
will be escorted to the hotel in Delhi. Spend the rest of
the day at leisure. In the evening, go for shopping at the
famous Connaught Place. Stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 02: Delhi
After breakfast, commence on daylong sightseeing city tour
of Delhi. Witness Delhi's rich architectural heritage in the
forms of Qutub Minar, Jama Masjid, Red Fort, Raj Ghat, India
Gate, Rashtrapati Bhawan, Humayun Tomb, Purana Quila among
others. The evening will be free for shopping at the famous
markets of Delhi such as the South Extension and Hauz Khas
Market. Stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 03: Delhi - Jaipur
Day Three will see you driving full speed towards Jaipur.
After arrival, check in at the hotel in Jaipur and spend some
time at leisure. Post lunch, visit the Amer Fort. In the evening,
visit the City Palace, Hawa Mahal, Jantar Mantar and the modern
Birla Planetarium. Stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 04: Jaipur - Ranthambore Tiger Reserve
After breakfast, drive out to the Ranthambore Tiger Reserve.
Upon arrival, transfer to the resort near Ranthambore Tiger
Reserve. In the evening, enjoy a jeep safari inside the Ranthambore
National Park. Afterwards, relax at the resort or watch some
interesting slides on the tiger. Overnight stay will be at
the resort.
Day 05: Ranthambore Tiger Reserve
The itinerary for the fifth day of the North India Wildlife
Safari allows you to spend the entire day within the Ranthambore
Tiger Reserve. Go for game viewing and have fun spotting the
tigers in their natural habitat. Visit the famous Ranthambore
Fort and the temple on top of the fort. Stay overnight at
the resort.
Day 06: Ranthambore - Keoladeo Ghana National Park (Bharatpur)
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive towards
Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary. At the sanctuary, enjoy a boat ride
and have a better look at the colonies of birds, which reside
in the interiors of the park. Stay overnight at a hotel in
Bharatpur.
Day 07: Keoladeo National Park (Bharatpur) - Agra
Enjoy a richskhaw ride within the bird sanctuary as you try
to spot the various exotic species of birds. In the evening,
drive towards Agra. Enroute, stopover at Fatehpur Sikri and
visit the tomb of the Sufi Saint Muin-ud-din-Chisti. After
arrival at hotel in Agra, check in and relax a while. Later,
go a guided tour to Taj Mahal, Agra Fort and Itmad-Ud-Daulah's
Tomb.
Day 08: Agra - Jhansi - Khajuraho
On the 8th morning of the North India wildlife safari tours,
board the train for Jhansi, North India. On your arrival at
Jhansi the tour guide arranges for you to be driven down to
Khajuraho. Upon arrival at Khajuraho, check in at the hotel
of your choice, have dinner and retire for the night.
Day 09: Khajuraho
Enjoy a full day's sightseeing of the Khajuraho temples, built
by the Chandela dynasty of central India. The temples are
famous worldwide for their erotic but aesthetic sculptures.
Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 10: Khajuraho - Bandhavgarh National Park
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and head for Bandhavgarh
National Park. Upon arrival, check in at the jungle resort.
Later, enjoy a evening jeep safari inside the Bandhavgarh
Nationa Park. Return to the jungle resort for overnight stay.
Day 11: Bandhavgarh National Park
The itinerary for Day Eleven of the North India Wildlife Safari
will see you embarking on a full day of game viewing with
two jeep safaris in the different parts of the lush forests
of the tiger reserve. Have a fun time trying to spot the tigers
during the jungle safaris. Return to the resort for overnight
stay.
Day 12: Bandhavgarh - Kanha
Early in the morning, leave for Kanha National Park, and check
in at the Tuli Tiger Resort, which is located in the Kanha
National Park's buffer zone. Spend the rest of the day at
leisure. Late afternoon, go out for exploring the tiger reserve
on a jeep safari. Explore the superb natural beauty and a
unique and varied wildlife of the park Stay overnight at the
resort.
Day 13: Kanha Tiger Reserve
Enjoy an exciting morning and evening jungle excursion, nature
walks and elephant rides inside the Kanha Tiger Reserve to
observe the large herds of the rare Barasingha and Swamp deer.
Overnight stay at the resort.
Day 14: Kanha National Park - Delhi
The North India Wildlife Safari tours comes to an end as you
board the flight back for Delhi, from where another connecting
flight/ train will take you back home.
