Day 01: Kathmandu
As you arrive in the heart of Nepal- the capital city of Kathmandu
for the Kailash Pilgrimage Tours, an India
Tour Guides representative will be there to greet you and
your family at the airport / railway station from where you
will be escorted to the hotel in Kathmandu. Spend the rest
of the day at leisure. In the evening, visit the Hanuman Dhoka,
the old royal palace and the Pashupatinath Temple a holy Hindu
shrine. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 02: Kathmandu - Nayalam
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and go on a sightseeing
tour of Kathmandu with visits to the Buddhist sites of the
Swayambhunath Stupa and the Boudhnath Stupa. Later, drive
to Nayalam in Nepal. Upon arrival at Nayalam, check in to
a hotel and stay there overnight.
Day 03: Nayalam to Peigu-Tso
On the third day of the Kailash Pilgrimage Tours,
drive from Nayalam to Peigu-tso. Enjoy the scenic drive and
take in the splendid beauty of the Himalayan range. Upon arrival,
set up a camp where you stay overnight.
Day 04: Peigu-Tso - Saga
Day Four will bring you to Saga. Explore the idyllic place
before setting up camp for the night.
Day 05: Saga - Paryang
The tour itinerary includes a drive to Paryang where you stay
overnight at a campsite.
Day 06: Paryang - Mansarovar
Break camp early in the morning and drive towards Mansarover
after a hearty breakfast. Upon arrival, see the beautiful
Mansarovar Lake Overnight stay at the campsites.
Day 07: Mansarovar - Dorchen
Drive to Dorchen on the seventh day of the Kailash Pilgrimage
Tours. Upon arrival, check into a guest-house where you stay
overnight.
Day 08: Dorchen - Dira Puk
The exciting Kailash Parikrama trek begins today from dorchen
as you make your way to Dira Puk. Overnight stay in camps.
Day 09: Dora Puk - Dromala Pass - Zuthul Puk
Resume the Kailash Parikrama trek as you head towards Zuthul
Puk via the Dromala Pass. Stay overnight at the campsite erected
for pilgrims.
Day 10: Zuthul Puk- Dorchen
On the tenth day of the Kailash Oilgrimage Tour, the Kailash
Parikrama Trek comes to an end as you reach Dorchen late afternoon.
Post lunch, drive to Lake Mansarover where you stay overnight
at the camp.
Day 11: Mansarovar- Paryang
Drive from Lake Mansarover to Paryang early in the morning
on the eleventh day of the Kailash Pilgrimage Tours. Arrive
at Paryang and set up camp for the night.
Day 12: Paryang - Saga
On the 12th day of the Kailash Pilgrimage tours, drive from
Paryang to Saga where you stay overnight in camps.
Day 13: Saga- Lhatze
Early morning, drive from Saga to Lhatze. Overnight stay in
camps.
Day 14: Lhatze - Sigatse
Drive from Lhatze to Sigatse. Check into the hotel and then
set out to visit the Tashilungpo Monastery that is the biggest
Gelugpa monastery in the Tsang region of Tibet. Overnight
stay at the hotel.
Day 15: Sigatse - Gyantse
The tour itinerary on the 15th day includes a drive from Sigatse
to Gyantse. On your arrival at Gyantse you check in to a hotel
and refresh yourself. Later, visit the main tourist attractions
of Gyantse that include the Dzong Fortress, Gyangtse County
Rug Factory and Pala Manor. Overnight stay at the hotel
Day 16: Gyantse - Lhasa
Check out from the hotel and head towards Lhaasa. Enroute,
visit the Palkhor Monastery in Gyantse. Arrive at Lhasa, post
lunch. Overnight at the hotel in Lhasa.
Day 17: Lhasa
After breakfast, embark on a sightseeing trip around Lhasa.
Visit the Nietang Buddha, the Potala Palace, Jokhang Temple
Barkhor Street, Sera Monastery, Ganden Monastery and Drepung
Monastery. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 18: Lhasa
Spend the day at leisure. Mingle with the very friendly locals
and get an insight into the life of the local people. Overnight
stay at the hotel.
Day 19: Lhasa - Kathmandu
On the 19th day of the Kailash Pilgrimage tours,
check out from the hotel after breakfast and fly back to Kathmandu
in Nepal. Upon arrival, check in at a hotel and spend the
rest of the day at leisure.
Day 20: Kathmandu
After breakfast, go on sightseeing tours to the tourist attractions
in Kathmandu such as the National Museum and the Patan Durbar
Square. Return to the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 21: Kathmandu
The Kailash Pilgrimage Tour comes to an end as you check out
from the hotel and drive to the airport to board your flight
back home.
