Day 01: Delhi
As you arrive in the heart of India- the capital city of Delhi
for the Indian Panorama Tour, an India Tour
Guides representative will be there to greet you and your
family at the airport / railway station from where you will
be escorted to the hotel in Delhi. Spend the rest of the day
at leisure. In the evening, go for shopping at the famous
Connaught Place. Stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 02: Delhi
After breakfast, commence on daylong sightseeing city tour
of Delhi. Witness Delhi's rich architectural heritage in the
forms of Qutub Minar, Jama Masjid, Red Fort, Raj Ghat, India
Gate, Rashtrapati Bhawan, Humayun Tomb, Purana Quila among
others. The evening will be free for shopping at the famous
markets of Delhi such as the South Extension and Hauz Khas
Market. Stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 03: Delhi - Agra
After breakfast and check out from the hotel, set out for
a exciting road trip to Agra. Enroute visit the Akbar's Tomb
at Sikandra. After arrival at the hotel in Agra, check in
and have a sumptuous lunch. In the afternoon, embark on a
sightseeing tour of Agra whereby you will get to see the best
of Mughal architecture such as the Taj Mahal, Agra Fort and
Itmad-Ud-Daulah's Tomb. Stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 04: Agra - Fatehpur Sikri - Jaipur
Day Four of the Indian Panorama Tour will
see you driving full speed towards Jaipur. Enroute, there
will be a stopover at Fatehpur Sikri, the historical town
built by Akbar where you can see the Bulund Darwaza, the largest
gateway in the world; Jama Masjid and the tomb of famous Sufi
saint Shaikh Salim Chisti. After arrival, check in at the
hotel in Jaipur and spend some time at leisure. In the evening,
visit the City Palace, Hawa Mahal, Jantar Mantar and the modern
Birla Planetarium. Stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 05: Jaipur
On the morning of the fifth day of the Indian Panorama
Tour, visit the magnificent Amer Fort, the greatest
attraction at Jaipur. The famous fort is situated 7 miles
up on a hilltop. The most convenient way to reach the fort
is by riding an elephant. A ride to the fort on the back of
an elaborately painted elephant is a special tourist attraction,
which would surely be a unique experience for you. Move on
to visit the other forts in Jaipur such as the Jaigarh Fort
and Nahargarh Fort. Spend the evening shopping at leisure
at the famous Bapu Bazzar where you can buy exquisite handicrafts
items, jewelry, clothes and other attractive items. Stay overnight
at the hotel.
Day 06: Jaipur - Udaipur
Set out for Udaipur in the morning. En route visit the famous
Ranakpur Jain temples. Thereafter continue drive to Udaipur.
Upon arrival in Udaipur, check into the hotel. In the evening,
go for a boat ride in Lake Pichola and admire the splendid
views of the sunset. Stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 07: Udaipur
Embark on a full-blown tour of Udaipur with visits to Lake
Palace, City Palace and Jag Niwas Island. After lunch, enjoy
a motor launch cruise on the placid waters of Lake Pichola.
Later, head out for the Jag Mandir Palace that is an island
palace situated in the middle of the lake. Explore the palace
at leisure. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 08: Udaipur - Aurangabad
On the eighth day of the Indian Panorama Tour,
board a flight for Aurangabad, in Maharashtra. Upon arrival,
check into a hotel and rest awhile. Post lunch, there will
be a excursion to the world famous caves of Ajanta and Ellora
that contain sculptures and vividly colored frescoes, religiously
carved by the Buddhist, Hindu and Jain Monks between 7th and
13th Century. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 09: Aurangabad - Mumbai
After breakfast, check out from the hotel in Aurangabad, and
drive towards Mumbai. Upon arrival, check into another hotel.
Freshen up and then embark on an interesting half day sightseeing
of Mumbai including the Gateway of India, Hanging Gardens,
Mani Bhawan, a museum dedicated to Mahatma Gandhi, the Prince
of Wales museum and the bustling Crawford Market, is a treat
to look forward to. The evening can be spent at your own leisure
followed by an overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 10: Mumbai
Early morning, check out form the airport after which, you
will be driven to the airport for the connecting flight back
home.
