Day 01: Kolkata
As you arrive in the city of Kolkata for the East
India Tours, an India Tour Guides representative
will be there to greet you and your family at the airport
/ railway station from where you will be escorted to the hotel
in Kolkata. Spend the rest of the day at leisure. Stay overnight
at the hotel in Kolkata.
Day 02: Kolkata
Enjoy a sightseeing trip of Kolkata that would include trips
to Jain Temple, Victoria Memorial and the Zoological Gardens,
Howrah Bridge, Fort Williams, Dalhousie Square, and Old Court
House Street. Stay overnight at the hotel in Kolkata.
Day 03: Kolkata - Darjeeling
Check out from the hotel in Kolkata and board a train for
Darjeeling, a charming hill station in India. Spend overnight
on the train.
Day 04: Darjeeling
Upon arrival in Darjeeling, you will be directly transferred
to the hotel. Have breakfast and freshen up. Afterwards, go
on excursions to the Tiger Hill and the Ghoom Monastery. Explore
the charming tea gardens at leisure. Overnight stay at the
hotel.
Day 05: Darjeeling - Pemayangste
Check out from the hotel and drive towards Pemayangste. At
Pemayangste, visit its the oldest monastery situated 2,085
meters above the sea level. Check in at a hotel in the evening
and spend the night there.
Day 06: Pemayangste - Gangtok
Spend the morning at leisure soaking in the wonderful atmosphere
at Pemayangste. After lunch, check out from the hotel and
drive towards Gangtok in Sikkim. Check in at a hotel late
in the evening and retire for the night.
Day 07: Gangtok
Enjoy a sightseeing tour of Gangtok. Visit the famous tourist
landmark of Gangtok such as the Stupa of Do Drul Chorten.
You can enjoy excellent views of the Kanchenjunga Mountain
Range from the Tashi Ling. Take in the amazing scenic beauty
of the place, covered by lush green forests. Overnight stay
at the hotel.
Day 08: Gangtok
On Day eight of the East India Tours, explore
the city of Gangtok and visit the Enchey Monastery, the White
Memorial Hall, the Residency, Institute of Tibetology and
Deer Park. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 09: Gangtok - Kolkata
Spend the morning at leisure. Afterwards, drive to New Jalpaiguri
from where you leave for Kolkata by train. Overnight on train.
Day 10: Kolkata
Spend the penultimate day of the East India Tours
in Kolkata catching up on all the shopping. Afterwards, visit
the Science City and Dakhineshwar. Overnight stay at the hotel
in Kolkata.
Day 11: Kolkata
Check out from the hotel after breakfast and reach the Kolkata
airport for your connecting flight back home.
