Day 01: Delhi
As you arrive in the heart of India- the capital city
of Delhi for Rajasthan Heritage Tour, an India Tour
Guides representative will be there to greet you and
your family at the airport / railway station from where
you will be escorted to the hotel in Delhi. Spend the
rest of the day at leisure. In the evening, go for shopping
at the famous Connaught Place. Stay overnight at the
hotel.
Day 02: Delhi
After breakfast, commence on daylong sightseeing city
tour of Delhi. Witness Delhi's rich architectural heritage
in the forms of Qutub Minar, Jama Masjid, Red Fort,
Raj Ghat, India Gate, Rashtrapati Bhawan, Humayun Tomb,
Purana Quila among others. The evening will be free
for shopping at the famous markets of Delhi such as
the South Extension and Hauz Khas Market. Stay overnight
at the hotel.
Day 03: Delhi - Mandawa
On the third day of the Rajasthan Heritage Tour, enjoy
the early morning drive to Mandawa that is situated
at a distance 240 kms. Get checked in one of the heritage
havelis of Mandawa after arrival. Mandawa is home to
some of the most beautiful havelis and mansions that
can be seen in the Shekhawati region. Feel the royal
ambience all around you as you visit the Chokhani Saraf
and Ladia Havelis. After lunch, visit the Mandawa Fort
from whose rampart, you can enjoy panoramic views of
the town. In the evening, go shopping at the local markets
that is stocked with exquisite handicrafts unique to
this region. Return to the hotel for the overnight stay.
Day 04: Mandawa (Shekhawati)
On Day Four, go explore the rest of the Shekhawati region
that is dotted with numerous 18th & 19th century
painted Havelis (mansions) and castles, especially the
towns of Dundlod, Nawalgarh and Laxmangarh. Return to
the hotel for the overnight stay.
Day 05: Mandawa - Jaipur
Day Five will see you driving full speed towards Jaipur.
After arrival, check in at the hotel in Jaipur and spend
some time at leisure. In the evening, visit the City
Palace, Hawa Mahal, Jantar Mantar and the modern Birla
Planetarium. Stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 06: Jaipur
In the morning, visit the magnificent Amer Fort, the
greatest attraction at Jaipur. The famous fort is situated
7 miles up on a hilltop. The most convenient way to
reach the fort is by riding an elephant. A ride to the
fort on the back of an elaborately painted elephant
is a special tourist attraction, which would surely
be a unique experience for you. Move on to visit the
other forts in Jaipur such as the Jaigarh Fort and Nahargarh
Fort. Spend the evening shopping at leisure at the famous
Bapu Bazzar where you can buy exquisite handicrafts
items, jewelry, clothes and other attractive items.
Stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 07: Udaipur - Jodhpur
The seventh day of the Rajasthan Heritage Tour will
bring you to Jodhpur. After check in at a hotel, spend
some time at leisure, getting refreshed. Late afternoon,
visit the Umaid Bhawan Palace Museum and explore its
various artefacts. Overnight stay at the hotel in Jodhpur.
Day 08: Jodhpur
Day Eight marks your sightseeing tour of Jodhpur. For
a first hand cultural experience, there will be visit
to Bishnoi Village by jeep in the morning. After having
lunch there, visit the famous tourist attractions of
Jodhpur that include the Mehrangarh Fort, famous Jaswant
Thada Memorial and the Mahamandir Temple. Enjoy a cruise
in Kaliana Lake before heading back to the hotel for
overnight stay.
Day 09: Jodhpur - Udaipur
The next stop on the Rajasthan Heritage Tour Itinerary
brings you to Udaipur. Known as the 'City of Lakes'
Udaipur is famous for its fairy-tale palaces, lakes,
temples, and gardens. After Check-in to a hotel, relax
for a while and get refreshed. In the evening, go for
a boat ride in Lake Pichola and admire the splendid
views of the sunset. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 10: Udaipur
Embark on a full-blown tour of Udaipur with visits to
Lake Palace, City Palace and Jag Niwas Island. After
lunch, enjoy a motor launch cruise on the placid waters
of Lake Pichola. Later, head out for the Jag Mandir
Palace that is an island palace situated in the middle
of the lake. Explore the palace at leisure. Overnight
stay at the hotel.
Day 11: Udaipur - Delhi
In the morning, we drive back to Delhi. Check-in to
a hotel in Delhi on arrival. If time permits, explore
the metropolis and do a last minute shopping. Later
you would be transferred to airport / railway station
for your onward journey or way back home.
