Day 01: Delhi
As you arrive in the heart of India- the capital city of Delhi
for Himalayan Trekking Tour , an India Tour Guides representative
will be there to greet you and your family at the airport
/ railway station from where you will be escorted to the hotel
in Delhi. Spend the rest of the day at leisure. In the evening,
visit the famous landmarks of the city such as Qutub Minar,
Jama Masjid, Red Fort, Raj Ghat, India Gate, Rashtrapati Bhawan,
Humayun Tomb, Purana Quila. Stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 02: Delhi - Dehradun
Embark on a 235 km long to Dehradun after an early morning
breakfast. On arrival you will be transferred to a hotel where
you can have lunch and spend some time at leisure. In the
evening, visit the Sahastra Dhara sulphur springs before returning
to the hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 03: Dehradun - Mussoorie
After breakfast and checkout from the hotel, enjoy the fresh
morning air as you drive out to Mussoorie that is at a distance
of 35 kms from Dehradun. Enroute, you can visit the Malsi
deer park. In Mussoorie, enjoy a ropeway ride up to Gunhill
from where you can enjoy spectacular views of the beautiful
Doon valley. Late in the evening, drive out to George Everest
House, where you can either camp for the night or stay at
a hotel.
Day 04: George Everest - Jwala Devi
After an early morning breakfast, put on your hiking boots
and start trekking the 8 kms up to Jwala Devi that offers
enchanting views of the Himalayan peaks Yamuna River, and
the Mussoorie valley. Have your lunch there, in the lap of
the nature and viewing and exploring the natural beauty of
the Himalayas. Gear up for the trek back to the George Everest
camp. Overnight stay in the camp / hotel.
Day 05: George Everest -- Bhadraj temple
Day Five of the Himalayn Trekking Tour will see you trekking
all the way to the Bhadraj temple that is at a distance of
12 kms. Spend some time in the beautiful environs of the Shivalik
ranges, viewing the Doon valley, Dakpatthar and Asan Barrage.
Late in the afternoon, start your trek back to the George
Everest camp, to reach in time for your dinner at the camp/hotel.
Day 06: George Everest - Kempty Falls
After a hearty breakfast, set out for 8 km trek towards the
Kempty Falls along with a packed lunch. Have fun bathing and
splashing about in the refreshingly cool water of the Kempty
Falls. Late afternoon, drive back to Dehradun and check in
at the hotel. In the evening, go for shopping at the local
markets in Dehradun that are bustling with activity. Overnight
stay at Dehradun.
Day 07: Dehradun - Delhi
The last day of the Himalayan Trekking Tour will be marked
by a drive back to the Delhi. On arrival check-in to a hotel
at Delhi. If time permits, explore the metropolis and do a
last minute shopping. Later you would be transferred to airport
/ railway station for your onward journey or way back home.
