Day 01: Delhi
As you arrive in the heart of India- the capital city
of Delhi for Explore Rajasthan Tour,
an India Tour Guides representative will be there to
greet you and your family at the airport / railway station
from where you will be escorted to the hotel in Delhi.
Check in and spend some time at leisure. Later, visit
the famous landmarks of Delhi such as Qutub Minar, Jama
Masjid, Red Fort, Raj Ghat, India Gate, Rashtrapati
Bhawan, Humayun Tomb and Purana Quila. Stay overnight
at the hotel.
Day 02: Delhi - Agra
After breakfast and check out from the hotel, set out
for a exciting road trip to Agra. Enroute
visit the Akbar's Tomb at Sikandra. After arrival at
the hotel in Agra, check in and have a sumptuous lunch.
In the afternoon, embark on a sightseeing tour of Agra
whereby you will get to see the best of Mughal architecture
such as the Taj Mahal, Agra Fort and Itmad-Ud-Daulah's
Tomb. Stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 03: Agra - Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary -Jaipur
Day Three of Explore Rajasthan Tour
will see you driving full speed towards Jaipur. Enroute,
there will be a stopover at Fatehpur Sikri, the historical
town built by Akbar where you can see the Bulund Darwaza,
the largest gateway in the world; Jama Masjid and the
tomb of famous Sufi saint Shaikh Salim Chisti. Also,
there will be a brief visit to the Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary
that will come in the way. After arrival, check in at
the hotel in Jaipur and spend some time at leisure.
In the evening, visit the City Palace, Hawa Mahal, Jantar
Mantar and the modern Birla Planetarium. Stay overnight
at the hotel.
Day 04: Jaipur
On the morning of the fourth day of the Explore Rajasthan
Tour, visit the magnificent Amer Fort, the greatest
attraction at Jaipur. The famous fort is situated 7
miles up on a hilltop. The most convenient way to reach
the fort is by riding an elephant. A ride to the fort
on the back of an elaborately painted elephant is a
special tourist attraction, which would surely be a
unique experience for you. Move on to visit the other
forts in Jaipur such as the Jaigarh Fort and Nahargarh
Fort. Spend the evening shopping at leisure at the famous
Bapu Bazzar where you can buy exquisite handicrafts
items, jewelry, clothes and other attractive items.
Stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 05: Jaipur - Ranthambore National Park
Set out for Ranthambore National Park,
by way of Sawai Madhopur. Upon arrival, check into a
jungle resort and where you stay overnight. In the evening,
enjoy a jeep safari within the tiger reserve.
Day 06: Ranthambore National Park - Pushkar
The itinerary for the sixth day of the Explore
Rajasthan Tour allows you to spend the entire
day within the Ranthambore Tiger Reserve. Go for game
viewing and have fun spotting the tigers in their natural
habitat. Visit the famous Ranthambore Fort and the temple
on top of the fort. Late evening, drive to Pushkar,
check in at a hotel, have dinner and retire for the
night.
Day 07: Pushkar - Udaipur
Explore the holy city of Pushkar. Visit the famous Brahma
temple situated on the bank of sacred Pushkar Lake that
is only one of its kinds in India. After paying your
obeisance at the temple, head out to the Nag Pahar,
also known as the Snake Mountain. Late evening, drive
to Udaipur and check in at a hotel where you stay overnight.
Day 08: Udaipur
After breakfast leave for a daylong tour of Udaipur.
See the City Palace, a grand palace with beautiful architecture,
the Jagdish Temple, dedicated to Lord Vishnu, and the
folk art museum with a colorful collection of puppets,
musical instruments and paintings. Return to the hotel
for overnight stay.
Day 09: Udaipur - Jodhpur
Post breakfast and check out from the hotel, drive to
Jodhpur. Enroute, visit the Ranakpur Jain temples. Upon
arrival, check in and have lunch. Post lunch, enjoy
an afternoon city tour of Jodhpur. Visit the Mehrangarh
Fort, famous Jaswant Thada Memorial and the Mahamandir
Temple. Return to the hotel for overnight stay
Day 10: Jodhpur - Jaisalmer
On the tenth day of Explore Rajasthan Tour,
explore the city of Jodhpur at leisure. Visit the Umaid
Singh Bhawan Palace. Enjoy a cruise in Kaliana Lake.
Also, go on an excursion to the Osiyan, an oasis in
the desert, with many beautiful Hindu and Jain temples.
In the evening, head for a Bishnoi Village by jeep,
where you will be served a traditional dinner. Later,
start out for Jaisalmer, where you will spend the night
at a hotel.
Day 11: Jaisalmer
Jaisalmer is delightful place to explore. After breakfast
enjoy a daylong sightseeing tour of Jaisalmer that will
include visits to the 12th century magnificent fort
of Jaisalmer, the amazingly carved mansions such as
the Salim Singh ki Haveli and Patwon ki Haveli, Gandhi
Sagar Tank and the Barabagh Hill. After lunch, visit
the famous Sam sand dunes situated at the edge of Thar
Desert through a camel safari trip. The evening will
be reserved for a cultural performance at a nearby village.
Stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 12: Jaisalmer -- Bikaner
Embark on long drive towards Bikaner after breakfast
after checking out from the hotel in Pushkar. Check
in at a hotel on arrival at Bikaner. After freshening
up, go on a sightseeing tour of Bikaner with visits
to the Junagarh Fort, Lal Garh Palace, Ganga Singh Museum
Karni Mata Temple and magnificent Havelis of Bikaner.
Stay overnight at Bikaner.
Day 13: Bikaner- Mandawa
On the thirteenth day of the Explore Rajasthan Tour,
after breakfast and check out from hotel, visit the
camel breeding farm of Bikaner. Them make your way to
Mandawa. Arrive at Mandawa in the afternoon, check into
the hotel and relax. In the evening we take a tour of
the mansions or painted havelis of Mandawa. The residences
of rich merchants, who have migrated from the region,
these houses have beautiful fresco paintings on their
walls. You can also see the traditional lifestyle of
the local people. Return to your hotel to stay overnight.
Day 14: Mandawa - Delhi
As the Explore Rajasthan Tour comes to an end, drive
back at Delhi. Check in at a hotel and have lunch. In
the evening, transfer to the city airport for the flight
back home.
